Dear my joyful sweetie,
Today is the last day of the year 2025. As umma reflect on the year, I feel immensely blessed to have had all the wonderful moments with you and papa. What more do we need?
Lots of wonderful things happened this year. You met your 할머니 in person for the first time since you were born. She was so happy to hug you—but it scared you a little! The last time we saw her, I was still pregnant with you, so you probably didn’t remember. Papa and umma got married, and of course, you were our beautiful flower girl in your white dress. You were the most beautiful girl in the whole world.
You leave your little (but definitely not small) cute mark everywhere you go. You fill every room you enter—and our days too—in a way that nothing in this world could ever replace. And oh, how we miss you when you’re not with us (your nursery is so lucky to have you full-time, Monday to Friday).
Not that you ever need to do anything to grab my attention, but you have this adorable little habit—pushing your face right in front of mine, head slightly tilted, flashing that cheeky smile. And just like that, you know I’m all yours.
Now you express yourself so much more. You tell us what you want, what you like, and very clearly what you definitely don’t want or like. The other day you copied me and said, “I am not happy.” Oh, how adorable you are—and how proud umma feels watching you find your voice.
You and papa make my everyday beautiful. We laugh at our silly things together. Our love grow bigger every day. Umma is so proud of you—of your kindness, your curiosity, and the way you brighten our world just by being you.
As we step into 2026, umma wishes you a year filled with good health, joyful discoveries, gentle dreams, and endless love. No matter how big you grow or where life takes you, always remember that umma and papa are right here—cheering for you, holding you, and loving you more than words can say.
Happy New Year, my precious one. ✨
Here’s to more memories, more laughter, and more love in the year ahead.
With all my love,
Umma
